Mike Tolhurst LLB (Auck)

Mike completed an LLB at Auckland University from 1979-1983 and left the Police in 1984 to pursue a legal career with Langley Twigg in Napier, Simpson Grierson in Auckland and then on his own account from 1990.
Mike is married to Marie, has five children and enjoys masters rowing, gardening,  and  following his children’s sporting activities in his spare time.

Mike’s legal expertise is in property, estates, debt collection, employment and family law. He appears in the District and High Courts on a regular basis.


Marie Tolhurst (Devoy)LLB (Hons) (Auck)

Marie completed her law degree at Auckland University in 1983 and was employed by Kendall Sturm and Strong before starting a family in 1985.
Marie has worked at Citylaw since 1994 and is married to Mike.
Marie counts among her many pastimes, cross-country running, masters rowing, indoor netball, soccer and gardening.  Marie is also an avid follower of her children’s sporting activities.
