WILLS – POWERS OF ATTORNEY PDF Print E-mail

YOUR WILL

As you know, it is extremely important that Wills are kept up to date.   Ideally, you should update your Will every five years, or in between times should your personal circumstances change, ie a beneficiary predeceases you, or you are separated from your current partner, or in any other similar event.   Ensuring you keep your Will current helps eliminate the possibility of costly difficulties in the winding up of your Estate when that eventuality happens.

POWERS OF ATTORNEY

As far as Powers of Attorney are concerned, it is a very good idea for everyone to have Powers of Attorney both in respect of welfare, and property.  Powers of Attorney may be needed in the event of sickness, or you being overseas, or if another event occurs which prevents you from personally attending to your affairs.
